Brett Henry

Brett Henry grew up in a church family environment, participating in most of the church's activities. He was never challenged about his relationship with Christ as a child, until one day a classmate in the 9th grade asked him if he was saved. Not really saying yes or no, he was urged to examine what it meant to be saved, even though he was active in the church as a young boy. At 13 he learned from readng the Bible that he was lost spiritually and through the scriptures he learned how he was saved because of Jesus Christ. From that day, he has ben walking with the Lord and has been active in the church with a purpose, unlike the dead works that characterized him as a young child.

Brett has been a member of Berean since the early 80s when he went to college and has been employed with Delta Airlines for the last 22 years. During that time, he has taken courses at Carver Bible College for further training in the Bible. He has been married for 19 years to Nicol Henry and they have two children, Nina and Nianna. Since he has been at Berean he has been on the usher board, deacon board, and youth Sunday School teacher and is presently servicing as the Director of Youth Ministries.
